My heart is a liminal place
…neither here
nor there…
words and images by Jaime Greenberg
…neither here
nor there…
…but here, I am
still barefoot
on an
autumn night
the sand is cool
the moon climbs
the clouds…
My heart’s
had enough
I stand in the rain
and wonder
is this all we’re for—
the universe’s long game?
we are–
falling
stars…
Under energy of dark and silver sky:
a spell
a candle
a breath…
the light
wants to see
what’s inside the dark…
There are gifts
in this beautiful place
for anyone
who seeks to find them.
I went out one night when the moon was red,
round as a spoon with a bite taken out…
Last night I dreamed I was pregnant –
but surely something was wrong
This coral vine is a verb.
If I turn my back, it’ll eat my house…
